Foxburg Bridge Implosion on Discovery Channel
The Discovery Channel has announced that "The Detonators" in Foxburg, PA will be aired on February 25th at 8:00PM and again at midnight.   So set the DVRs or dust of the VCRs (your preference), but be sure to watch.   My kids still miss the 'brown bridge' when we go to Nana and Papa's house; so it should be a good night in the Baum household to take a look, remember and discuss.

Gary Kriebel Funeral Fund
Want to send out a little note to all who can maybe help out at this time of need. As some of you may or may not know Gary Kriebel of Dutch Hill had passed away this past week. He was the Father of Jackie, Gary and Dan Kriebel. Unfortunately in his passing he did not have life insurance and his wife is trying to burden an already tough time with this responsibility. If you could please send a donation all be it small or large it would help out in this great time of need. Dan will be in full control of all funds. They appreciate it and God Bless!

Regards,

Donald Wetzel

Foxburg Bridge on Discovery Channel
I don't know if any of you have been watching the Discovery channel lately but they've started showing a commercial for new shows coming up in 2009 and the Foxburg Bridge demolition is in the commercial.   Pretty cool!    I've seen it several times over the past couple of days, so tune in and catch it.  I've been seeing it during "Dirty Jobs", but I'm sure it's showing during other programming.  Looks like it's going to be on a new series called "The Detonators" guessing from the name of the shows they were advertising.

Glad to know that they captured it for posterity.   I had my 5-year-old son come in and watch the commerical to which he exclaimed, "It's the brown bridge falling into the River!"..... I'm glad that he can at least remember it since it's not around for when he is older.
