Welcome to the ACV E-Mail Directory. I would encourage you to let your friends and family know about the directory, as the more listings we have, the more useful we will become. Word of mouth will always be our strongest form of advertising.
I started the ACV E-Mail Directory over 10 years ago, in 1997, as a group "address book" for friends from High School. After other people hit on the site and asked to be added, I decided to open it up as a general directory for everyone living in or from the Allegheny-Clarion Valley region.
Listing and viewing information on the site always has been and always will remain free, although donations are encouraged. If you appreciate our mission and would like to help with a monetary contribution, you can visit the
donation page for more information. Add your name to the list of many fine people who have supported the site over the past decade.
By nature, the ACV E-Mail Directory is in a constant state of flux, so I invite you to bookmark the site and check back often. This is a personal mailing list, so no need to worry about your listing leading to a mailbox full of ads for Nigerian King's Fortunes or Home Mortgage applications.
On the topic of spam, the major change that you'll notice between this directory and the old version is that I've added a security feature to your e-mail listing ensuring that automated web harvesting software will no longer be able to pick up your e-mail address. At the beginning of each e-mail address, I'm placing the tag "ACV_" which must manually be deleted by the user before an e-mail can be sent to your address. This will prevent your functioning e-mail address from being harvested by spammers.
For Example:
address@domain.com will come up as......
ACV_address@domain.com - delete the ACV_ prefix from the front of the e-mail and send.
